Deluxe Studio,1 Queen Bed(Tulum)

Misdirection, we accidentally booked the wrong Bishop Arts Hotel Negative: No lobby or staff. 3 different codes to remember and no keys or paper with the codes. Separately, At one point our door lock would not open and it was very stressful. Finally, despite the hotel name, it is a 20 minute walk from the Bishop Arts District. They have a small unlit wooden sign. Compare this to the real Bishop Arts Hotel actually in Bishop Arts that has a large neon sign.

I’ve stayed here twice for concerts in Dallas. Stayed in Paris the first time and loved it, 5 stars. So the second time we stayed in Tulum. Both stays were great, the only reason I’m leaving 4 stars is because our bathroom outlets in the Tulum room did not work so it was a slight inconvenience getting ready for the concert. We did not contact the host due to the short amount of time we had and was able to do our hair anyways using our phone camera in the living area of our room. I wasn’t sure if they could’ve got it fixed in the time we needed so we decided not to bother, which was probably our fault. Otherwise I had no issues staying here. Room was clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff is amazing. The rooms are wonderful each one individually themed. High quality linen, mattresses are a dream. Just cant say enough.

Bad shower Positive: No staff was nice, location was decent. Mini fridge in closet was good. Bed comfy. Lobby towels, ice, and coffee were self serve. Negative: Shower pressure and temperature were TERRIBLE. I did not feel clean until I came home. Towels thin and rough. Shower didn't look clean. Butt warmer in toilet seat was broke. Tried to unplug and replug- didn't work. Fridge took a while to chill things. Microwave was in the lobby.
